About Beck

Raised in Houston, Texas, Becky began film acting at a very young age, before finding a special passion for theatre in High School, and ultimately pursuing her BFA in musical theatre at The Boston Conservatory.

While she loves to sing and act and zip-zap-zop, she’s interested in a variety of art, reflected in her minor in Creative Writing from Berklee College of Music, and her specialization in Songwriting from BoCo. Her favorite project so far has to be the site-specific production of “Hell if I Know,” a play she both wrote and directed.

Beck loves to play the guitar and the piano, using both instruments as another facet of storytelling. She also has a huge passion for education, having been involved in multiple theatre summer camps, where she’s taught acting, singing, and dancing to children. Although the most tiring of her interests, it’s possibly the most rewarding, as an investment in the hope and creativity of our youth is critical in our difficult and beautiful world.

In her free time, you will likely find her at your local thrift store, making jewelry and candles, dog sitting, or watching a show (probably The Good Place.)
